Eric's garden is coming along nicely. This year he grew lettuce, zucchini, carrots, and watermelon. This weekend the kids and I harvested the last of the lettuce and the carrots. They had a blast pulling carrots out of the dirt, and we even found a few creepy crawly friends in the process:
Cadence remarked, "Mom, look at this silly one". Yes, when growing your own produce you will come across a few that you will never see in the local supermarket!
Perhaps the "silliest" one of them all!!!
