Reunited

Summer has come and gone...well sort of...still hotter than Hades around here some days! We got a special visitor in July when Eric's youngest sis came out and stayed with Brea for a couple weeks. We really enjoyed getting to know her a little bit. Hopefully this will be the first of many times together. While she was here we did some swimming and visited the beach. Too bad Pismo was cold and windy the day we went, the kids had a blast anyway. I'll let you figure out who I refer to when I say, "the kids".

Celebrating Another Year

This weekend we had Cadence's birthday party and tried to beat the heat in the shade of my Grandpa's yard and in his pool. We had a good time despite the triple digit weather!
