Summer Camping Trip

There's a small campground nestled in the Sierra's the Pisor family has been visiting for generations.  We have continued the tradition.  This summer Cadence made her third trek up and Sani went for his second time.  One of my best friends from college and her hubby joined us and my parents for a good time!

A couple years ago I took a picture of this tree growing in this stump...it's cool to watch the growth from year to year and find it a beautiful symbolic image:
